Helping older adults live with dignity, respect and encouraging their involvement in the community.
January is Alzheimers Awareness Month
We encourage all to learn more and be inclusive as we enter the New Year.
MONTHLY MESSAGE FROM our Executive Director.
We have had a great start to 2023 at Bow Cliff. Thanks to you, our diverse and dynamic programming is well attended, our lunches and drop-in programs are doing very well, and our membership is back up to pre-pandemic levels.
This year, we are trying something new with our Super Membership, and I thank our 60+ members for enrolling into the program. I am very encouraged to see many super members from the other organizations joining us for programming and events.
From an operational standpoint, we are expecting cuts to our funding going forward and obviously inflation is increasing our costs of operations. We are doing everything we can to streamline our operations for efficiency and to maintain our current program cost structure. To offset the increase in costs we will be introducing several fundraising events and luncheons this year. We are hopeful for your continued support and grateful for the support of our corporate sponsors who, through their sponsorship and donations, are helping us offset the increased costs.
Thank you once again to our incredible volunteers who volunteer hundreds of hours each year to provide wonderful lunches and programming support.
Wishing you all a healthy and safe February!
